I'm totally lost and give up please help!! I'm using CactiWMI 0.0.6 and set the correct path on wmi.php and edit my credentials at /etc/cacti/cactiwmi.pw. Run debug on says ok and run wmi.php script on shell command without error but all my graphs showing NAN. I altered CDEF based on the forum but still no luck.

My info:
CentOS 5.4, Cacti-0.8.7-e, poller cmd.php, RRDTool 1.3.9, PHP-5.1.6

Thanks in advance!!

Are your data sources getting any data at all? You should be able to check using the cacti logs to see if the script returns any data and so long as it doesn't error or anything then it should be getting data. But in any case your cacti log is the first place to start looking :)

Thanks Ross. I was able to use the readme and the recommended forum thread to get CactiWMI going. However my graph is not filling out. I had to change CDEF to a,b,+ to get past the RRDTool error. I'm using CactiEZ and it does not come with a cacti account, so I was not able to set permissions/ownership as directed in the readme. Other than that, all other directions were followed and everything appears to be OK. This is my first WMI graph. All my SNMP graphs are working fine. Any suggestions?

Are you by chance using something other than Cacti 0.8.7b? If so you need to fix your CDEF's. From the looks of things that's what the problem is. 0.8.7b changed the number of inputs on the graph for better accuracy but it was then removed in the newer versions. This breaks the CDEF's.

I don't know what version that is, where did it come from? Its confusing because debian slightly altered the version number compared to the package I grab and compile from zenoss.

The version I use is from http://dev.zenoss.org/svn/trunk/inst/externallibs/ its the wmi-1.x.x.tar.bz2 file. The version on deb that was broken was 1.1.3 but was listed as 0.1.13 by debian. So yer confusing.

Grab the version from that link and try again :)
